24 Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Ink Pad Set

Product Description
Tim Holtz is one of the leading innovators of scrapbooking supplies today. He combines vintage style with cutting edge technology. Tim Holtz is the education director for Ranger Industries. Of course, some of his most popular items on the market are his Distress Inks. Distress inks allow you to age paper, meaning you can archive classy and historic look to your scrapbook album without waiting years!
Distress inks are water-soluble. This trait allows you to spray them with water to achieve unique effects on your paper. All you need is a water mister to be able to control the inks, creating beautiful designs. All of the colors can be layered as many times as you want.
These ink pads all have a 2" raised felt pad. This makes it much easier to apply the ink to your papers. One of my favorite techniques is to tear white-core cardstock and use the ink pads to ink the edges. Another fun idea is to crumple up your paper, then rub the ink pad over the paper (it will get on all the creases), then spray with water to make the inks run. Let it dry this way before smoothing out, or use a craft iron to iron it smooth. This makes a wonderful aged look to your paper!
This set includes all 24 of Tim Holtz' Distress Ink Pads. No shopping around for all the colors!
