Dusty Concord Distress Embossing Powder has unique qualities! It is unlike any other embossing powder. It has a matte finish and a rough texture.
Stamp your image on your paper (embossing distress ink will stay wet for up to 5 minutes, so you don’t have to hurry). Shake up the embossing powder a little bit to mix the release crystals evenly. Shake the powder generously over your stamped image and gently tap off the excess to return to the jar. Using a heat tool, heat the embossing powder very generously. You can’t overheat these powders. When you think you are finished heating (the powders will turn darker), do not touch the powders until the paper is cool. If the powders are heated enough, they will feel rough like sandpaper when you test them with your fingers. If they are not, continue heating and then test again when they are cool. Now take your hand and gently brush it over the embossed area until the release crystals are brushed off. Release crystals should be thrown away and not put back into the jar. From here, you can go over the powder with more distress inks or more stamped images to make your creation truly beautiful!
To use, try Clear Ranger Distress Ink or any Distress Ink Pad.
