Flowered Simplicity Card
If you need a card with a small amount of glitz, but lots of style, this one's for you! You will need:
Dark Red A4 sized card
Gray Patterned Cardstock (I used DCWV Luxury Stack)
Fleur De Lis Punch (Anna Griffin or any other)
Chipboard Glittered Flower
Sheer Gray 3/4" Wide Ribbon
1 Medium Sized Gray Brad
Paper Glue
Foam Adhesive
Directions:
Make a card or use a purchased card in A4 size (8 1/4" w x 5 1/2" tall) with dark red cardstock.
Cut the gray cardstock to 3 3/4" x 5 1/4".
Punch 3 fluer de Lis' across the bottom, spacing them as evenly as possible.
Tie a length of sheer gray ribbon around the middle of the gray cardstock, making a double knot. You can glue the knot of the ribbon to the gray card if desired.
Using acid free paper glue, adhere the gray cardstock to the front of the red card.
Place a gray brad in the middle of a glitter chipboard flower and bend the prongs back on the brad. Adhere the flower to the middle top of the gray card with a foam dot.
Well, that was an easy one! I hope you enjoyed making this card. If you have a card idea that you would like to share, please email me with the directions, supplies used, and a small picture. You can email me @ jdrrpupper@msn.com.
