Details

Pearl & Copper Metallic Mixatives™ are luminous, fast drying, acid free inks, specially formulated to create metallic highlights when combined with Adirondack® Alcohol Inks. Use them on all non-porous surfaces such as light or dark gloss paper, dominoes, Memory Glass™ and other slick surfaces.

  • Acid free
  • .5 fl. oz. bottles
  • Precision tips
  • Use on non-porous surfaces
  • Creates luminous highlights
  • Use sparingly with the other alcohol inks, or they will drown out your color...just a few drops in one place on your felt is all you need for a 12" x 12" sheet!

The easiest way to use the ink is with the Alcohol Ink Applicator Tool (sold separately). Take whatever colors you want to use and place the tip against the felt and do a 5 second squeeze into the felt. Dot on as many colors as you like into different spots on the felt. If you use a metallic mixative, only use one dot on your tool, it goes a long way! The regular colors, you can make several dots onto your felt. After you place all the inks on that you want to mix together on the felt, then you're ready to apply them to your project! The inks can be blended more effectively with the alcohol ink blending solution (sold separately). The blending solution is also great for cleaning up your work surface, tools and hands afterward.
