Fun & Easy Tag Card
This is a fun and easy card to make for just about any occasion. The supplies you will need are:
* A4 size card in yellow (or cut a piece of yellow cardstock to 8 1/2" long by 5 1/2" tall)
* Orange Cardstock
* 1 gold eyelet
* Background stamp & yellow ink
* Ranger Enchanted Gold embossing powder
* Clear Embossing ink pad
* Embossing Heat Tool
* Red Embossing Pen
* 3-4 Silk Flower Petals- 2" across for largest layer
* 1 orange brad
* 2-3 Orange, Yellow or Brown Fibers
Instructions:
#1. Fold yellow card stock in half. For an extra special look, stamp all over the outside with a leafy background stamp and yellow ink.
#2. In 4-5 places, stamp right on top of the yellow design, only this time use the clear embossing ink on your stamp. Holding your card over a container or piece of paper, quickly cover the stamped places with Enchanted Gold embossing powder. Tap off the excess powder onto your paper or container. Heat the embossing powder till it's melted.
#3. Make a tag out of the orange paper. I made mine 2 1/2" wide by 4" tall. Cut the top corner off on one side of your tag (just eyeball it). Cut off the other corner (to get them both even, just hold the first cut triangle against the other side and cut.
#4. Make a hole in the top center of your tag and attach a small gold eyelet. Choose 2-3 different fibers, cut them to approximately 8". Place each one through the eyelet and tie a knot. If you have trouble getting the fibers through such a small hole, use a large needles to poke them through far enough till you can grab the end.
#5. Go around the edge of the tag with a red embossing pen, making short strokes to resemble hand stitches. This does not have to be perfect. Do the same around the inside of the yellow card.
#6. Make a flower out of 3-4 silk flower petals and place an orange brad through all of the layers to keep them in place. Attach the flower to the left top of the tag. Foam adhesives work great for this and add dimension to your project.
#7. Now just attach the tag to your card at an angle, and add a greeting and you're all done!
